I recently signed up at Fummo.com which is a PTS(Paid-to-Signup offers) site. I potentially believe that they are scamming, as the rates for completion of offers are too high!

For instance, I signed up with hostgator.com for a 100 gb space, with a CC(coupon code) “freetrial” and got the hosting for 1 cent. The FUMMO guys has listed the offer completion prize as $70! But hey, I needed a hosting, so, just signup under their referral as well with a free coupon.

Besides, hosting includes cPanel, unlimited mySQL databases and all the yada yada.. visit www.bhlive.info.

However, hari.ampli5.org stays put. I’ve signed up this blog with sponsoredreviews.com and expect some or other advertiser to give me a chance.

Experience: Nightmare!

Well well well, I made it through the nightmare called “PQT - Probability and Queuing Theory”. The question paper was damn twisted and them examiners didn’t ask even one derivation. Problems required some careful thinking and analysis.

Not even 1 damned question was easy! and worse, I forgot the formulae for Queuing theory!! Thats it, one question down the drain. In the end, based on the statistical averages, got an assurance that I will pass the paper.

Next up - Computer Architecture!

Students like me are stricken with PQT fever. Marc, seriously dude, I wonder how you’ve gone through this semester as it is anything like Hell! Not even one subject is easy dude! It takes me 50 minutes to complete one question!!

Seriously, you can’t expect any student to mug up 30+ formulas in one Unit in math! But PQT demands the situation. I hope everyone passes off the paper.

Many of my blog’s AVID readers (maybe 3 or 4) complain of low font size. pour votre attenzione: use the Accessibility feature on the left! Press the second button to have a decent font, the third one is for the near blind fellas.

Tip: Maximize the utilization of the available resources.

You never know about AIHT unless you are an AIHTian. These guys, disgust me with their illogical and irresponsible actions. why I say this? you may ask. These guys practically take bribe in the form of “No Dues”. They give a piece of paper(IIIrd quality paper) in which you need to get signature from the concerned staff members handling the subjects, enlisted there.

1. Commotion in the library:

I got the chance to experience my worst time to pay a trifle Rs.20/- to the library as a part of no dues. All the final years, II years were there pulling and pushing at each other. Have we lost our minds?! We are god damned literates guys! Fighting, pushing like beggars for getting a Seal in that stupid parchment?! At one point, I came out with such a difficulty (I’m a bit fat and bulky. I actually should’ve waited, but thought the better of it)

2. At the office:

A group of second years, including myself, abhored the food at mess and we’ve been taking lunch ’twas prepared at home early morning (Blimey, Home cooked food tastes awful lot better). As a result, we needn’t pay the Rs.5000/- (A bit above the par, really) for the mess. Letters were given by parents of the concerned wards, and were accepted too. Still, our Hall tickets were held up! Where this god damned college is going to?!

We guys thought of protesting against the 100/- charged at us for breaking the chairs, ceiling fans which we didn’t. But, shortage of time and Proof forced us to pay. When are we going to see light? Why should we be entangled into this concept of No dues? Whoever broke the apparatus in the laboratory can pay., why should the others?
