Akismet Spam block is driving me nuts!

Akismet Spam block is driving me nuts! Yup.. Marc’s comments always get caught up in the Spam. Alongside, I get funny comments from some unsolicitous visitors… Marc et George, what the heck should I do for this thing??

I am afraid to un-un this thing too! Its pretty useful sometimes..

    I think those were real random visitors that arrived at your blog through search engines. Spam is when they post dumbass links about porn and viagra and poker.

    I suggest you turn it off and delete spam manually or keep Askimet on and check for valid comments regularly.

    No, keep Akismet. It’s good enough. Just get rid of the false positives. Better having false positives hidden than real spam getting away.

    Also, yes, phentermine ads are also spam :)
