I can’t understand what they are talking about the licensing costs etc., so if any chap has knowledge in that area, please do explain.


After reading it, my thought is : Indian Govt. is completely hopeless when it comes to telecommunications.

I can observe that BSNL 2 mbps upgrade has become a Hot topic nearly in all Tech Forums, blogs etc. Here is the LINK to one such discussion. Apparently, expectations are very high that Existing plans will remain the same, except for the upgrade in Speed.

By the way, Vinod has given some interesting info that I am not aware of. Is it necessary to change routers for this upgrade?

The holidays are just Boring with a Capital B. I am not doing anything good, except watching movies, and Sudoku-ing all the time.


Recently, I downloaded E - DVD RIP, and I should say, the film was quite good in terms of story and screenplay. E stands for Eeswar.. nothing special. Jeeva, the protagonist, by his subtle acting, scores throughout.. Its Jeeva, Jeeva all the way! His attempts in doing different types of character roles, is surely going to take him a long way in Kollywood industry… no wonder he has been awarded with Cyprus award, one of the prestigious awards in Film industry.

The story revolves around Jeeva, Pasupathy, Aashish Vidyarthy. Nayan Tara does her part of the Bar dancer and chips in quite well in 5-6 scenes. Karunas(Tony) comes as Jeeva’s friend and plays a prominent role too.


The Plot: Researching a Banned drug sample on Human beings, thereby observing its effects on them. If the drug kills them, Bio-war, the most dangerous war of its kind, can break out. Petty theives will become Mafia gangsters and kill by using these drugs, making the world an unsafe place to live in.

Plot put into action:

1. Jeeva(E) does anything and everything for money from stealing Govt.Bulbs in the roadsides to selling Nayan tara to a Brothel broker. His Body language, and the way he speaks has an element of humor.

2. Pasupathy(Nellai Mani) is depicted as a Terrorist from the start, fights against those doctors trying to con the innocent by using them as Research material.

3. Aashish vidyarthy(Dr.Ramakrishnan), plays the evil doctor, researches a banned drug sample on a Child as well as an aged lady(E’s Grandma).

The trio meets in a morgue, where Pasupathy tries to kill Aashish. Jeeva foils his attempt and
pasupathy gets caught. eventually, he escapes from Jail and gets shot in the police encounter. Jeeva rescues him, hides him in a building (Kaaka Kootai). Cunningly, he plots to kill him therby getting the 15lakh prize placed on pasupathy’s head by the Govt. and 10lakh by the Doctor. However, when Jeeva comes to know about Aashish vidyarthy’s true colors, he kills pasupathy as requested by the latter and takes up his role. In the end, he kills the doctor.

A dialogue from the movie deserves applause. here it is. Pasupathy asks Jeeva to live and fight for people like him.

Jeeva: Nanba, makkalukaga vazharathuku enaku thaguthi kidayathu. En appan yaarunu ennake theriyathu. Marketla pasanga enna thevidiya paiyanu than kupdranuga..

Pasupathy: Un perapu theriyama irakarethe unakku periya thaguthi than. Perapu therinchuta, Jaathi therinchudum, Matha Sanga thalaivan aayiduva. Oru mozhikku sonthakaran aayiduva. athanala, thevidiya paiyana irkarthe periya thaguthi than.

Jhananathan, the director, has come up with a good movie again after his “Iyarkai”. Graphics in this film is excellent! Art director deserves a Pat for his stunning work on the Kakka Kootai(crow’s nest). Strong dialogues, fast screenplay makes watching the film an ultimate thrilling experience. Music director Srikanth deva fails to deliver his best in the songs, but scores well with the BGM.


Rating: 8.5/10. Must watch movie of the year.

My dad pestered me to read this book, said that it is highly hilarious.. Well, I read 10 pages too.. I couldn’t find a element of humor there.. Maybe I’ll encounter a few in the forth coming pages. But, if any of you feel that this author is no good with sense of humor, comment here and I’ll save my time by not reading it at all.

Worse, the book is written in pure english (1920’s and 30’s english!).
